Hannah Cecil Gurney’s Victorian London residence is drenched in colour and pattern. The living room walls feature a chocolate-brown chinoiserie on matter rice paper evocative of the Coromandel screens in Coco Chanel’s Paris apartment. The windows are finished with peach De Gournay silk curtains with a retro velvet puff ball heading.
